Expert Outlet Installation in Simi Valley, CA

Pacific West Construction Specialists, Inc. handles outlet installation for Simi Valley homeowners who need more power where they use it most. We install new receptacles in kitchens, home offices, garages, bathrooms, and outdoor areas. Every outlet is wired to code and load-tested before we leave. Many Simi Valley homes built in the 1990s and 2000s carry 100-amp panels and older circuit layouts that were not designed for today's appliances, EV chargers, or home office setups. When we add a new outlet, we evaluate the circuit it will sit on first. If the existing wiring cannot safely carry the added load, we tell you before we start. We also install GFCI outlets in wet and outdoor locations, which California code requires in kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and exterior spots. Our electricians are licensed under California's C-10 contractor requirements. Call Pacific West Construction Specialists, Inc. to schedule your outlet installation in Simi Valley.

Outlet Installation FAQ

Common questions about outlet installation in Simi Valley, CA.

We can install an outlet in most locations, but the right spot depends on your existing circuit capacity and wall framing. Our electricians assess the circuit first to confirm it can handle the added load safely.

Yes, California electrical code requires GFCI protection in kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and outdoor locations. Pacific West Construction Specialists, Inc. installs and tests GFCI outlets to confirm they trip and reset correctly.

In many cases, yes, if the existing circuits have enough capacity to support additional receptacles. We check the load on your panel and circuits before recommending the right approach for your home.

California requires electrical work to be performed by or under the supervision of a licensed C-10 contractor. Hiring a licensed electrician protects you from code violations and keeps your home insurable.

We install standard 15-amp and 20-amp receptacles, GFCI outlets, 240V outlets for appliances, and outdoor-rated outlets. The right type depends on the location and what you plan to plug in.

A warm wall plate, a outlet that sparks, or one that stops holding a plug firmly are signs it needs replacement, not just a new install. Call us and we will inspect the outlet and the circuit it sits on.

Rob & his crew at pacific west were awesome. They literally has to gut my downstairs after a massive flood caused by a broken pipe in the wall. They were professional, on time & a pleasure to work with. My downstairs looks like a whole new house & I love, love, love my new kitchen. I am a self taught chef & baker, so the kitchen was extremely important to me.o. It came out just gorgeous. I would highly recommend pacific west.

Everyone at PWC is fantastic to work with, making the process simple and straightforward from estimating to build and install. All the work is top quality and has fared well after a year of constant use. Can't recommend enough!

We have been doing business with Rob and Pacific West for almost 10 years now. They've remodeled our master bathroom, Kitchen, Created a laundry room, and remodeled our concrete bbq with porcelain tile. All the jobs were completed at or very close to the given timeliness and cost. The team is also great at being flexible, and offering practical solutions when you need some help deciding on exactly how to remodel your room. But most important is that this team provides real quality work that they stand behind. And yes, you do pay a little more for that, but in my opinion it's well worth it. They really do want the customer to be happy. As I've told friends and family... can you find a less expensive contractor? Probably. Can you find someone better? Doubtful.
